9 Days Kilimanjaro Climb - Lemosho Route
9 DAYS - 8 NIGHTS
One of the better possibilities for climbing Kilimanjaro is the Lemosho Route. The path practically spans the mountain from west to east, allowing for ample of time for acclimatization and taking in the entire view. The drive to the trailhead via the western path is a little bit longer but is well worth it because you get to travel through some wild terrain and you might even be lucky enough to see a buffalo or an elephant. As you progress through the lowland jungles into the Shira Plateau over the first few days of the walk, you will approach the western flank of the peak, a side of the mountain few travelers reach. The trek continues along the traditional Machame Route and sees a surge in hiker traffic after reaching Shira Camp 2 on the third day. The fourth day of the hike, when you rise to the Lava Tower (15,000 feet/4600m) before descending to the campground in Barranco Valley, is very beneficial for acclimatization. You arrive at the high camp at Barafu, which is located on a desolate volcanic plain, after another day of hiking. Before making a nocturnal summit effort, climbers take the day to recuperate here. To reach Uhuru Peak, the last summit and highest point in Africa, requires a six-hour walk to the crater rim and an additional hour of traversing across the rim of the crater.
8 days kilimanjaro Climbing Safari Lemosho Route Mount
8 DAYS - 7 NIGHTS
The eight-day Lemosho route, which offers panoramic views of the mountain's numerous faces, is regarded as the most beautiful trek on Kilimanjaro. Lemosho, one of the most recent routes, is a great option for your ascent. Because of the perfect balance of few crowds, it is our favored route. Stunning surroundings and a high rate of summit success. The 8-day Lemosho Route Kilimanjaro Trekking & Hikes are one of Climb and Safari's specialties. The majority of our customers ascend Kilimanjaro using this route, and they repeatedly express their appreciation for it. Lemosho is therefore highly advised. From the west, the road ascends Mount Kilimanjaro. A protracted drive from Moshi to Londorossi Gate is the first step. The first two days are spent trekking from there to Shira Ridge via the rain forest. The Lemosho path is a pleasant, somewhat level hike that traverses the whole Shira Plateau from west to east. Up until the route's intersection with the Machame route near Lava Tower, there are few people on the road. Before summiting from Barafu, the route then follows the Southern Circuit beneath Kilimanjaro's Southern Ice Field. The Mweka path is used for the descent.
7 Day Climbing Kilimanjaro via the Machame Route
7 DAYS - 6 NIGHTS
The Machame route, also referred to as the "Whisky Route," is one of the best for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro because it allows climbers to "walk high and sleep low" and is best for acclimatization. As a result, it has one of the highest summit success rates of all the routes to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. The Machame route can be crowded because to its high success rate, but we'll start early to avoid the crowds. Additionally, I make sure that my porter team gets to the appropriate campsites early so that your tent will be ready when you get there, along with a warm beverage made by our team cook. This 7-day Kilimanjaro climb itinerary provides a fantastic acclimatization plan. In order to make the most of your Kilimanjaro trip, you will enjoy 2 shorter days of walking before climbing to the peak. We will climb in five different climatic zones and pass through breathtaking terrain during the course of the walk. Here are a few of this program's salient characteristics:
6 Days Mount Kilimanjaro Machame Route
6 DAYS - 5 NIGHTS
Mount Kilimanjaro can be climbed using one of six well-known routes: Marangu, Machame, Lemosho, Shira, Rongai, and Umbwe. All three routes—Marangu, Machame, and Umbwe—advance from the mountain's southern side. The west is where the Lemosho and Shira paths approach from. The Rongai route travels close to Kenya from the north. Every route descends via Mweka, excluding Marangu and Rongai. One of the most beautiful and highly recommended routes up Kilimanjaro is the Machame route, sometimes referred to as the Whisky Route. This well-traveled path gains a crest that passes through areas of moorland and leads to the Shira Plateau along routes through gorgeous trees. In order to connect with the Barafu Route to the top, it subsequently passes beneath the glaciated precipices of the Southern Ice fields. It has a considerably better success rate of summitting because it can be done over longer periods of time and the slope is easier to manage. You will be welcomed at Kilimanjaro International Airport upon arrival and transported to the 4-star B&B Kilimanjaro Wonders Hotel for overnight accommodations. Your head guide will meet you there to give you a briefing, check your equipment, and make arrangements for you to rent any necessary gear.
5 Days Mount Kilimanjaro Marangu Route
5 DAYS - 4 NIGHTS
Because it can be completed in fewer days and features permanent sleep shelters at the campgrounds, the Marangu Route, also known as the Coca-Cola route, is more well-liked. From Kibo Hut, the ascent to Uhuru Peak is steep and passes Gilman's Point. Because it is a shorter route with a steeper ascent and less time for acclimatization, it frequently fails to reach the summit. The only path where the ascending and descending routes are combined, increasing traffic, is this one.
