The hike lasts about 2-3 hours and helps build your stamina while enhancing your acclimatization process. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the hut, hydrating, and enjoying meals with your climbing team. Engaging in light activities will keep your energy levels up without overexerting yourself. The landscape shifts to an alpine desert, characterized by rocky terrain and sparse vegetation. While the trek can be demanding, take breaks to enjoy the spectacular views of the surrounding peaks. Upon reaching Kibo Hut, rest and prepare for the summit attempt. Dinner is served early, and you’ll receive final instructions from your guides. Prioritize hydration and rest, as you'll be starting your ascent in the early hours of the following day.

Upon reaching Uhuru Peak at 5,895 m, celebrate your accomplishment and take in the panoramic views. Afterward, begin your descent back to Horombo Hut, which takes about 4-5 hours.
