Gorilla Trekking And Habituation Safaris

Uganda is the most populated Mountain Gorillas destination with more than half of the world’s population. Gorilla trekking activities are carried on the high-altitude edges of the Albertine rift valley in southwestern Uganda, This moment is captured in two dense rainforests. In this case Bwindi impenetrable national park which is the most aged biodiversity rainforest in Uganda with about 20000 BC. The park is home to over 400 gorillas individuals with other primates and wildlife species. The park is divided into 4 sectors which makes it easier to manage and protect these endangered creatures, these sectors include Buhoma in the north, Ruhija in the East, Rushaga, and Nkuringo in the south and west respectively. At these sectors, it is where Gorilla’s habituation and allocating gorilla families takes place. Gorilla trekking in Uganda is also done in Mgahinga national park, the park is home to the famous Nyakagezi gorilla family, as mentioned Uganda has adequate volumes of this endangered species and is ready to trek daily throughout the year. The Gorilla Trekking activity is only available in Bwindi impenetrable and Mgahinga national parks. The Gorilla parks are safe and easily accessible by both tarmac and air from Kampala Uganda’s capital.
