Chimpanzee trekking is one of the most unique adventures; the activity involves walking through the dense rainforest in Uganda in search of the man’s closest cousin (the chimpanzees). In most Uganda national parks chimpanzee trekking can encounter other primate species like l’hoest’s monkeys, black and white colobus monkey, vervets, and much more. Chimpanzee tracking is done in many national parks in Uganda to mention is Kibale Forest National Park which is commonly known as the chimpanzee capital attributed to the incomparable numbers of chimpanzee around the park, Budondo forest which is adjacent to Murchison falls National Park, Bugoma forest, Kalinzu and kyambura Gorge which are part of Queen Elizabeth National park. This adventure takes about 2-4 hours in the dense rainforests searching for chimpanzees and upon seeing them you will have 1 hour of time with them and be overjoyed with how they roll around the branches of trees, easting, and making round calls.
