Where is the Buhoma Sector located?
The Buhoma sector is situated in the northern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, one of the four sectors where gorilla trekking is conducted. This sector is historically significant as it was the first area in Uganda to offer gorilla trekking, with the Mubare gorilla family being the first to be habituated for tourism in 1993.
