Bwindi impenetrable forest national park is about 500km away from Kampala city at the edge of the Albertine rift valley, the rainforest has a vast and misty kind of environment that stretches over the formed steep mountains. This wide range of biodiversity also includes the endangered mountain Gorillas which is also included on our 7 days safari expedition alongside chimpanzees in the flourishing Kibale forest national park and not forgetting the magnificent Queen Elizabeth national park for other wildlife species to encounter.

Itinary in details

  • Day1
    After your early breakfast in Kampala or Entebbe, we drive westwards, enjoying the scenic views as we move towards Fort Portal town, a beautiful town built in the shadows of the Rwenzori mountain ranges. Spend a short time in this charming town as you are having your lunch from there embark on the Crater Lake visit. Thereafter, we set a course for the magnificent forest of Kibale National Park, where we have dinner and overnight at our reserved lodge.

  • Day2
    The flourishing Kibale Forest holds a wide range variety and is the most popular with primates in East Africa. We shall have a guided nature walk conducted by the Uganda wildlife authority where we encounter the man’s closest cousins, red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, olive baboons, and much more. We shall go back to our lodge for lunch and later engage ourselves to Bigodi Swamp; this is an avenue place for bird lovers. After a successful day of adventures, we transfer back to our lodge in time for dinner and overnight.

  • Day3
    On this day, e check out of the lodge and transfer for a brief tour at Lake Nkuruba, where we will see scenic views of the beautiful crater lakes, covered within vegetation and gentle hills. After lunch, we set out towards the popular Queen Elizabeth National Park just and on arrival, we embark on an evening game drive. We anticipate seeing warthogs, cape buffalo, waterbucks, and African elephants, and later we check-in for a night of comfort at the lodge for our dinner and overnight.

  • Day4
    The beautiful morning opens up with a game drive to search for various wildlife species; this is a great moment for wildlife viewing as animals tend to be more active in the morning hours. We end our adventure in the magnificent savannah for some relaxation and lunch and later we head out on an afternoon Launch cruise along Kazinga Channel. We will have sightings of Hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, and other mammals, reptiles, and birds in big numbers at the shores relaxing in the afternoon heat. We will also go to the crater lakes and enjoy the beautiful views before returning back to the lodge in time for dinner and an overnight stay.

  • Day5
    On this day, we depart from Queen Elizabeth national park, but not yet until we set our eyes on the tree-climbing lions of the famous Ishasha sector. We go through beautiful landscapes to arrive in Bwindi National Park, where we will seek out the endangered primate species the mountain gorilla.

  • Day6
    After breakfast, we head out for a briefing at the park offices where we are assigned to the gorilla tracking families and given tips in accordance with our conduct with nature and for a close encounter with the mountain gorillas. We shall be guided by an experienced tracker, we bravely physically maneuver through Bwindi Impenetrable Forest; it is likely to take minutes or hours of trekking through vegetation before we meet with a colossal dominant silverback male and his group. Upon return from the dense rain forest, you will receive your gorilla tracking certificate, and later return to the lodge for refreshing, set out for a community walk, and meet the Batwa pygmies community, this is an exciting experience with the local people and a closer look into their culture and lifestyle

  • Day7
    After a fun-filled expedition of seven days safari in Uganda, we check out of the lodge and start our journey to a preferred point of call in Kampala or Entebbe. Our first stopover will be in Mbarara town for lunch and our last stop at the Equator line for the photographic moment and purchasing various souvenirs or gifts for friends and family back home.
