      • Day1-2

Take a flight to Windhoek from Johannesburg. When you arrive, our representative will meet you and help you check in for your trip to Namibia's Damaraland region, which is known for its arid beauty. Desert Rhino Camp is a modest tented camp surrounded by the rocky outcrops of the Palmwag Concession. The amazing personnel at Desert Rhino Camp really go above and beyond to make you feel at home, whether it's through story-telling, drinks by the campfire, or sumptuous dinners served against a starry sky. The opportunity to follow the critically endangered black rhino is a highlight of any visit here. It's an honor to set out with these devoted conservationists to track rhinos by car and on foot because the camp is operated in collaboration with the "Save the Rhino Trust." Spotted hyenas, giraffes, mountain zebras, gemsboks (oryx), and black-backed jackals are among the other animals in the area.

      • Day3-5

Explore a different fascinating area of the Palmwag Concession by flying north. The chic and contemporary Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp, located in the authentic Namib Desert's strange settings, will be your home for the next three nights. Unexpectedly diverse species inhabits this region, including gigantic elephants that have evolved to living in the desert, lions, giraffes, gemsboks, and springboks. You may unwind on the shady deck of your opulent tent between drives and keep an eye out for animals at the camp waterhole. A visit to the Skeleton Coast is another must-do activity. Before arriving at the shoreline with its scattering of rusty ships and a sizable colony of Cape fur seals, the drive takes you past gigantic sand dunes and surprising oases. A gorgeous flight back to camp completes the amazing day.

      • Day6-8

Your last stop is one of the most remote camps in southern Africa, in the far north of Namibia. In contrast to the lunar-like Namib Desert, Serra Cafema Camp is situated among shade-giving trees on the bank of the Kunene River. Choose between walking along the river valley, quad-biking on the sand dunes, and nature drives. Crocodiles and water birds appear out of place in this unique location, making early morning boat safaris especially lovely as the golden light brings forth the rich colors of the desert. Visiting the Himba people to learn about their customs and semi-nomadic way of life is another highlight (given that they are in the area). Then, after a thrilling day in the desert, return to your camp's cool oasis and enjoy the comforting sound of the rapids below.

      • Day9

You take a final breakfast overlooking the Kunene River before being flown to Windhoek in a small plane. After that, a flight returns you to Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport so that you can make other travel plans.
