8 days Magical Kenya Wildlife Safari

This 8 days safari gives you great insight into the scenic scrubland of Samburu, Kenya’s diverse landscapes and wildlife. You will have a chance to visit the world-famous Bird Sanctuary of Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara Kenya’s most popular game park, with the possibility of encountering all the big five and many other game species. This safari is carried on between July to October during the annual great migration of wildebeest where millions of wildebeest, gazelle, and zebra from the Serengeti Plains cross the Tanzania border through Mara River to reach the Maasai Mara grazing fields. The 8 days adventure also takes us to Lake Nakuru national park where we shall be amused by the wide range of habitats and biodiversity ranging from lakes, ridges, and Escarpments with abundant wildlife and bird species including Flamingos, African Fish Eagles, Goliath heron, pied kingfisher Hamerkop, Goliath heron, pied kingfisher and Verreaux’s eagle among others. Masai Mara national reserve is the best highlight of this safari and the most epic destination in Kenya offering multitudes of wildlife species inclusive of big fives, sprawling savannahs, rolling hills, and dramatic river crossings. Itinary in details

  • Day1
    Upon arrival at the airport you will be met by your safari guide and transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

  • Day2
    Guests will be picked up from the Hotel in the morning. We’ll kick start the day with a safari briefing session with our safari guide and the company representative, and then embark on the journey passing the majestic Mout Kenya along the way to the Savannah plains of Samburu Game Reserve. Guests will have lunch at a camp then embark on the afternoon game drives.

  • Day3
    Guests will have a whole day exploring the spectacular flourishing beauty, rivers and forests of the Samburu Game Reserve. It is an area where the local people with a rich and colorful cultural heritage. The reserves have several permanent springs and a variety of wildlife species like the leopard, hippo, African elephant, lion, giraffe, zebra and crocodile in the Ewaso Nyiro River and Over 365 bird species have been recorded in the sanctuaries.

  • Day4
    We depart the camp soon after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Wildlife is viewed as we exit the park. We shall have lunch along the way followed by an afternoon game drive or relax at the lodge. Lake Nakuru is a rift valley shallow alkaline lake renowned for its high concentration of flamingos as one of the world’s greatest ornithological destination. Although Lake Nakuru is majorly a birding sanctuary, there are a considerable number of wildlife species to see in the park like the zebras, African elephants and gazelles. This is one of our best chances of seeing white rhinos and a number of Rothschild’s giraffe.

  • Day5
    We break the camp soon after our morning breakfast and drive to the south through the beautiful savannahs plains accompanied by scenic Rift Valley views along the way. Guests will experience another evening out in the bush under the far-reaching African skies. Animals such as African elephant, zebra, wildebeest, topi, wart hog, and gazelle are spotted along with predators like the lion, hyena, and cheetah. We will proceed to the lodge to settle in for the night and enjoy the company of Masai storytellers by the camp fire.

  • Day6
    Guests will spend another whole day on game drives exploring the Masai Mara. The open savanna grasslands are home to incredibly rich and varied wildlife species. The annual wildebeest migration and antelope is the highlight of any tour to Africa from July to October. Optional balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of $450 USD per person to explore more about Masai Mara. The Maasai Mara Game Reserve the most famous and most visited national park in Kenya. Those traveling from June to October can witness the annual great migration of wildebeest where of millions of wildebeest, gazelle and zebra from the Serengeti Plains cross the Tanzania border through Mara River to reach the Maasai Mara grazing fields. Maasai Mara abounds with birdlife dose to about 452 species have been recorded.

  • Day7
    Guests will set off for the morning game drives to see more wildlife and then after proceed to Nairobi. Arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight.

    Breakfast at guest’s leisure then depending on your flight departure time will be transferred to the airport to board your home bound flight.
