7 Days African Cultural Tour Uganda

On this tour your will experience Kampala cultural trail which is the gate way to Uganda, we start with a tour to kabaka’s palace and Buganda traditional parliament where we observe and learn about the royalty of Baganda people to their traditional helm and their influence in shaping the history of Uganda, we visit the kasubi tombs a traditional burial ground of the kings of Buganda kingdom and a UNESCO heritage site before we tour Buganda’s coronation site in Nagalabi alongside other important cultural destinations like the Bahia temple, martyrs shrine, Religious hills among other, apart from kampala we shall also visit Sezibwa falls for more culture enlightenment about Buganda kingdom before we proceed to Jinja town with a focus to explore the source of the Nile River and a visit to the kyabazinga’s palace and experience about the cultural and lifestyle of the Busoga traditional helm, after which we shall embark on the 5 hours drive to the western Uganda for more about the 7 days African cultural tour in Uganda with the best preview of the fascinating mabere ga nyinamiwiru caves in fort portal and also adventure Kibale forest national for chimpanzee trekking alongside other 12 primate species such as the black and white colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, olive baboons, red tailed monkeys among others followed by a community walk to associate more with the cultural lifestyle of people around the park. Itinary in details

  • Day1
    Right after your Breakfast, our guide-driver will collect you from your hotel to visit the various cultural sites in Kampala such as the Cultural Market, Kasubi tombs in which the kings and royals of the Buganda kingdom are buried, Nagalabi – the Buganda kingdom coronation site, Bahai temple, the Kabaka’s lake and the Palace of the Buganda king, Nakasero Green Market and Uganda Museum, in addition to many other fascinating sites, where you will learn about the true history of Uganda, its kingdoms and its rich varied culture. Later In the evening, head to the Ndere Cultural center where you will enjoy lots of entertainment including traditional cultural dances. Dine and slumber at your hotel

  • Day2
    Early breakfast and head to the Uganda martyrs Shrines in Namugongo where were horribly the martyrs were murdered. From here you will leave for Jinja, visit Sezibwa falls to see a cultural site related to the Buganda Kingdom. On arrival at Jinja, you will explore the White Nile which is 7 times the volume of the great Zambezi and yet the longest river in the whole of Africa. Visit the impressive Bujagali falls and have an opportunity to see the dazzling white water of the River Nile squeezing its way through the rocks. In addition, you will see the true source of the River Nile, the exact point where this river starts its long journey across the African continent. Drive back to Kampala later in the day. Dine and slumber at your hotel.

  • Day3
    After breakfast, drive to Fort Portal and along the way visit the Nakayima tree found in Mubende, and there you will be narrated the fascinating tales about the history of this impressive tree. Continue to Fort Portal where you will dine and spend the night.

  • Day4
    Today visit the “Amabeere ga Nyinamwiru” (translated as Breasts of Nyinamwiru), which is a cultural site and there you’ll learn about the history of this wonderful site, visit the Karambi tombs and the King’s palace, and later in the day go for a community walk to the neighboring villages. Dine and slumber at your hotel.

  • Day5
    After an early breakfast, set out chimpanzee tracking within Kibale national park, and afterward, drive to Queen Elizabeth national park arriving in the afternoon for a launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This boat ride will reward you with sights of elephants, hippos, buffalos, and crocodiles plus numerous water birds. Dine and slumber at the Lodge.

  • Day6
    Today, you will have an early morning game drive to see lions, hyenas, elephants, leopards, bushbucks, and water hogs plus many more. Later in the day drive to Mbarara, where you will dine and slumber

  • Day7
    After an early breakfast, you will visit some cultural sites within Mbarara like the Banyankole Kingdom shrines, visit some Banyankole homesteads to further learn about their fascinating culture, lifestyle, and their general practices, and then visit orphanage homes plus women groups. Following lunch, drive back to the capital stopping by the Equator to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time and take some photographs, and also stop at the Mpambire drum village for some crafts as souvenirs. On arrival in Kampala, you will be transferred to the airport or taken to your hotel for dinner and overnight based on your travel arrangements. This will be the end of our 7 Days cultural experience in Uganda.
