We will stay in our exclusive campsite from where we will make our exploring forays into the park. During the rainy season mid-December to end February, we do not offer safaris in Mana Pools National Park.

    Your Zimbabwe Safari begins with a rendezvous in Harare, Kariba, or Chirundu, followed by a scenic drive to Mana Pools National Park, taking approximately 4-5 hours through Zimbabwe's northern wilderness. This Zimbabwe Safari experience continues with your arrival at an exclusive tented camp nestled among towering albida trees in the Nyamepi area, your home for the next four nights. The afternoon Zimbabwe Safari activity includes a guided exploration of the immediate surroundings, where you'll likely encounter elephants feeding on fallen albida pods and various antelope species grazing on the lush plains.

    Your Zimbabwe Safari adventure continues with an early morning game drive along the Zambezi floodplains, departing camp around 6:00 AM to maximize wildlife viewing opportunities. The Zimbabwe Safari experience allows for close observation of wildlife gathering around the famous pools, including the 2 km-long Long Pool (Chitake), located approximately 6km from camp. Your afternoon Zimbabwe Safari activity features a guided walk through the giant acacia forests of Mana, where skilled guides track wildlife on foot, offering a thrilling and authentic wilderness experience.

    Today's Zimbabwe Safari focuses on exploring the Zambezi River frontage, a 9km stretch of floodplain rich with wildlife, departing after an early breakfast at 5:30 AM. This immersive Zimbabwe Safari Day includes tracking the park's famous elephant bulls known for standing on their hind legs to reach acacia pods in the Nyamepi area. Your Zimbabwe Safari continues in the afternoon with a game drive to the Kanga Pan, an inland water source approximately 15km from camp that attracts diverse wildlife during the dry season.

    Experience a unique Zimbabwe Safari perspective with a full morning walking safari through the Mopane woodlands and around the ancient ox-bow lakes of Chine Pool, located about 7km from camp. The afternoon Zimbabwe Safari activity explores the Vundu area, approximately 10km east of the camp, known for its resident wild dog pack and impressive concentration of buffalo herds.
