Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Antananarivo, followed by a scenic 4-hour drive east along National Road No. 2 to the village of Andasibe. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to enjoy the facilities—whether it's a refreshing swim in the pool, a relaxing spa treatment, or a drink at the bar. As night falls at 6:30 PM, our team will meet you for a guided night walk in the community reserve. This is your chance to spot nocturnal creatures like mouse lemurs and chameleons under the stars. Don't forget to bring a raincoat, mosquito repellent, and a flashlight!
Your day begins early at 7:30 AM with a guided walk through Analamazaotra Rainforest, where the calls of the indri—the largest lemur—echo from up to 5 kilometres away. After a morning of wildlife discovery, you'll drive 4 hours along RN2 to the village of Manambato. An off-road route leads to the riverside, where a boat awaits to carry you along the Pangalane Channel to Palmarium Reserve. Glide past local farming and fishing communities, and cross Rasoabe and Rasoa Kely Lakes. Your journey ends at the peaceful 'Dream Nest,' a perfect retreat.
Your day begins with a 2-to-3-hour guided walk through Palmarium Reserve, where a knowledgeable local guide will reveal the secrets of the lush, biodiverse forest. After the walk, visit a traditional fisherman's village and experience daily life along the water. As evening falls at 5:30 PM, the adventure continues with a nighttime boat excursion—a one-hour journey into the darkness in search of the elusive Aye-Aye lemur. This is one of the best places in Madagascar to spot this rare nocturnal creature. Under the stars, you'll feel the magic of the reserve come alive.
Today, you will depart this beautiful location wih motorboat and head back on the same road to Andasibe via national route N°2. On the route, you can stop at Madagascar Exotic Park, which is a privately run reserve at Marozevo and is situated between the towns of Manjakandriana and Moramanga. This happens to be a very popular tourist spot, so make your day memorable! Catch sights of different reptiles, butterflies, moths, insects, and more here. Keep driving after the visit, then ctoss to Mantasoa villge where you will spend the night at natural beautiful lodge.
Your day begins with breakfast, followed by a peaceful motorboat ride across Lake Mantasoa to Nosy Soa Park—a sanctuary where Ring-tailed lemurs and reptiles roam freely. You'll have the chance to interact with these playful creatures before returning to the lakeside for lunch. Then, the journey continues to Antananarivo, where history and culture await at the Queen's Palace and the vibrant Analakely Market. After a day of discovery, we'll transfer you to your hotel or the airport.
