Itinary in details

  • Day1
    Pick up from your hotel for a drive through the great North to Lake Naivasha arriving by mid morning for bird walk before time for lunch at the lodge. Lake Naivasha is truly a bird sanctuary over 450 bird species have been recorded here you can study birds of the region such as fish eagles, ospreys, black crakes,lily-trotters and herons. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge/camp.

  • Day2
    After breakfast leave Naivasha and head for Lake Nakuru famous for its millions of pink flamingos arriving by midmorning. Here you can have a chance to see some of the common bird species like the lesser and greater flamingoes, African fish eagle, tawny eagle, green wood hoopoes, great white and pink backed pelicans. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge/hotel

  • Day3
    After breakfast drive west past extinct mount Longonot into Masai Mara game reserve arriving in good time for lunch. This park is famous for its high concentration of wildlife and outstanding scenic views. The park boasts a bird list of over 450 species which includes-hooded vulture, secretary bird, ostrich, white headed vultures, woodpeckers, griffon vulture, Egyptian vultures, Nubian vulture, cardinal Quelea among others. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp/lodge

  • Day4
    Full day spent in the park for wildlife and Birdwatching, the Mara birds come in every color and size. More than 400 bird species have already been recorded here, including birds of prey.
