This is a super circuit road trip adventure taking you to Kibale forest national park for chimpanzee trekking experience via the spectacular view of Fortportal area, from there embark on the journey to meet the endangered mountain gorillas through the remote villages of western Uganda.

Itinary in details

  • Day1
    Pick up from either hotel or at the airport and get ready for the 6 hours’ roadrip to Kibale forest national park , you will have lunch along the way, On arrival late dinner will be served at the lodge, with its scenic view of the forest, of Kibale national park. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

  • Day2
    Have early morning breakfast before departing to the park headquarters where you will be given a safety and tracking briefing. You will then be taken by vehicle to a starting point, to commence your chimpanzee trek in the forest. After this phenomenal wildlife experience, return to your vehicle on the edge of the forest, returning to lodge for lunch. Take an afternoon swamp walk in Bigodi swamp sanctuary to sight some birds and other primates. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

  • Day3
    Early breakfast prior to departing for Bwindi via Queen Elizabeth national park and watch out for eye-catching big game on the way like elephants, buffalos, antelopes, warthogs and other wildlife. In the afternoon, relax while having lunch in Kihihi town or take a walk to the bustling market of Kihihi. Continue to Bwindi for ultimate gorilla experience. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

  • Day4
    Early morning breakfast and proceed to the briefing point. Enjoy the highlight of your trip – Gorilla trekking, which may last from 2 to 6 hours depending on the group you are visiting. We trek through the rainforest and bamboo covered slopes, accompanied by a Uganda Wildlife Authority guide and other trackers, in search of a mountain Gorilla family. The walking can sometimes be tough and long, but when you catch a glimpse of the magnificent silverback, any discomforts will be quickly forgotten. Due to the nature of the activity, you will have packed lunch. After Gorilla trekking, you will drive through the terraced hills to the savanna conservationa area of Lake Mburo national park.Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

  • Day5
    After having an early breakfast, go for a morning game drive in Lake Mburo national park. This park is famous for Zebras, Impalas, Giraffes, Elands, Cape Buffalos and many tropical bird species. Checkout of the park and transfer to Entebbe with lunch en route!! But along the way, you will make a stopover at the Equator line to have an authentic feel of standing at Latitude 00
