Itinary in details

  • Day1

Today's journey is dedicated to visiting the little islands of Nosy Komba (including Lemur Island!) and Nosy Tanikely. First, we will take a boat to Nosy Komba, known for its many small, inhabited beaches and the emerald sea surrounding its blissful shores, with few tourists. After this, we will head to Nosy Tanikely, located about 10 kilometers from Komba. It's important to take advantage of the unique snorkeling opportunities here, as this island is a protected marine reserve and one of the best snorkeling sites in the area, featuring coral, numerous fish, and sea turtles. We will have lunch there before returning to the hotel in the afternoon.

  • Day2

We'll start our day by leaving the hotel and setting off for the stunning Nosy Iranja by speedboat. This paradise consists of two beautiful islands connected by a long stretch of soft white sand—an iconic sight featured in countless photos of Nosy Be. Nosy Iranja is also a vital nesting site for sea turtles, making it a dream destination for water activity enthusiasts. Upon arrival, you'll have the chance to explore the charming fishing villages and learn about the local community and its ecosystem. We'll take a leisurely walk along the cliffs and visit the historic lighthouse, where you can enjoy breathtaking, panoramic views of the Mozambique Channel. After a delightful picnic lunch, we'll head back to the main island and return to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

  • Day3

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel while taking in a beautiful sunrise over coffee. Today, we'll journey east by car to visit Lokobe National Park. According to the Madagascar National Park Authority, this park is home to 50 species of reptiles, 14 species of amphibians, 42 birds, and three species of primates living freely in their natural environment. In the park, we will also encounter the unique black lemur (Eulemur macaco), which is endemic to the northern area. After the visit, we'll return for lunch and then take a walk around Ambatonjavavy to observe the daily life of the local people. Later we'll head back to the beach for a good night's rest.

  • Day4
Meet at your hotel or designated meeting point at 8:00 AM. You'll then board a speedboat or traditional pirogue for a scenic ride to Nosy Sakatia (approximately 30 minutes). Upon arrival, enjoy stunning views of the turquoise waters and pristine beaches. Gear up with snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, and fins) provided by the tour operator. Common sightings include tropical fish and, during certain seasons, sea turtles. Enjoy a delicious beachside picnic (included in the tour) featuring fresh seafood, grilled meats, tropical fruits, and traditional Malagasy dishes.

At 4:30 PM, we will head to Mont Passot, the highest point at 432 meters in the middle of Nosy Be Island. It is one of the must-see places in Nosy Be, offering impressive 360-degree panoramic views. Peacefully appreciate the sunset while easily identifying each island, bay, village, and mountain in sight. We will return to your hotel after the sunset.
