Your Nosy Be adventure begins the moment you step off the plane, with a warm airport welcome and a brief orientation before a transfer to your charming hotel on the island's stunning west coast. After settling in, the afternoon is yours to enjoy—whether you choose to sink your toes into the soft sand, take a dip in the ocean, or simply relax by the pool with a cool drink in hand. As evening falls, dinner is at your leisure, giving you the chance to explore one of the island's delightful local restaurants or dine in the comfort of your hotel.
After a morning meet-up at your west coast hotel, you'll transfer to Hellville port and board a 40-minute exclusive boat to Ankify. On arrival, your guide awaits to lead you on a 140-kilometre drive through diverse landscapes and the bustling market of Ambilobe. The destination: Mahamasina and Ankarana East National Park. With a certified guide, you'll spend 2.5 to 4 hours exploring dry forest circuits—Perte de Rivière, Tsingy Tower, the suspension bridge, and Bat Cave. Lunch is at Chez Aurélien, a local favourite near the park. The afternoon brings a 110-kilometre transfer to Diego Suarez (rough road, 3.5 hours). Arrive, check in, and enjoy dinner at your leisure.
Your day begins with a visit to the stunning Sakalava Bay, Pigeon Bay, and Dune Bay, where panoramic views of the Indian Ocean stretch before you. Take the opportunity to swim in the crystal-clear waters, sheltered by coral reefs and framed by white sandy beaches. Continue to the military ruins, the lighthouse, and the village of Orangea, all overlooking a beautiful beach. Lunch is at a restaurant in Ramena, a traditional fishing village, where fresh fish specialties are served in a lush tropical garden. In the afternoon, stroll through Ramena, watching fishermen build their pirogues and repair nets along the 3-kilometre beach. Return to Diego Suarez along the coast, with views of the Sugar Loaf islet and vast mangrove forests. Transfer to your hotel. Dinner on your own.
Your day begins with a meeting at the hotel with your guide, followed by a 2.5-hour walk through Montagne d'Ambre's evergreen forest—a world of humid tropical microclimates, forest trails, botanical paths, and cascading waterfalls. With a certified Madagascar National Parks guide, you'll search for seven species of lemurs and a variety of endemic wildlife. Continue southeast to Analamera, where lunch awaits at a small local restaurant near the Tsingy Rouge site. Then, step into a landscape like no other—the Tsingy Rouge, a fascinating geological formation of sandstone, marble, and limestone spires sculpted by combustion, erosion, and infiltration. Depart Analamera and head south through ever-changing landscapes back to Ambilobe (2.5 hours). Transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Your journey concludes with a scenic 3-hour drive from Ambilobe to the coastal village of Ankify. Here, a fast boat awaits for an exclusive 40-minute crossing to Hellville port. From there, a short transfer brings you to your west coast hotel in Nosy Be, where your adventure comes to a peaceful end. Thank you for traveling with us—until next time!
