  • Day1

    On the first day of 4-Day Tanzania safari to Mkomazi, Tarangire, Ngorongoro & Lake Manyara, you will leave Arusha in the early morning. The journey to Mkomazi National Park takes about two to three hours. Mkomazi, located near the Kenya-Tanzania border, is known for its diverse ecosystems and wildlife. Home to the endangered African wild dog, the park also features various antelope species and an impressive array of birdlife, with over 400 species recorded. After settling into your accommodation, you can enjoy an afternoon game drive. The park's landscape includes savannas, mountains, and acacia woodlands, providing a unique backdrop for wildlife viewing. End the day with a relaxing evening at your lodge, reflecting on the day's sightings.

    After breakfast, you will depart Mkomazi and head towards Tarangire National Park. The drive takes approximately two hours. Tarangire is known for its large elephant population and iconic baobab trees, which can grow to be over a thousand years old. The park also features a variety of habitats, including swamps and grasslands. Upon arrival, you can enjoy a game drive, where you may spot lions, zebras, and giraffes. Tarangire is particularly interesting during the dry season, as animals gather around the Tarangire River for water. In the evening, settle in at your lodge or camp, where you can listen to the sounds of the African night.

    On the third day of your Tanzania safari, you will leave Tarangire early to reach Ngorongoro Crater. The drive takes about two to three hours. The crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the largest intact volcanic calderas in the world. It is home to a variety of wildlife, including the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinoceroses. The diverse ecosystems within the crater support numerous species, making it a prime location for wildlife viewing. Lunch can be enjoyed at a picnic site overlooking the stunning landscapes. After a full day of exploration, you will return to your lodge on the crater rim, where you can enjoy panoramic views.
