We have designed a 4-day Kruger National Park traditional game safari for the intrepid tourist. You can affordably take in some of South Africa's best wildlife locations over the course of these 4 days. You will witness some of the best game viewings in South Africa throughout your safari. Panorama Route
We take you up about 7 a.m. from Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport or your hotel. Then we head east to the Kruger National Park. This route runs through some of South Africa's most beautiful farmlands and mountain passes. You can buy some refreshments and use the restroom at comfort stops. We plan to arrive in Hazyview around midday. The Kruger Gate is a 15-minute drive from the lodge. You will have some time to settle yourself following check-in before boarding an open-sided safari vehicle for a thrilling game drive at dusk. For dinner and overnight lodging, proceed back to the lodge.
We will gather early in the morning for coffee and rusks before heading off on a full-day wildlife drive in the Kruger National Park (Skukuza area). The 4x4 open-sided vehicle's elevated height provides superb viewing and photographing opportunities in this region, which is home to a variety of species. Following the dawn game drive, we'll halt for breakfast. Breakfast is given in a bag, but you can also buy meals at one of the rest camp's stores. We'll continue our early-morning excursion after breakfast. You will afterwards partake in lunch at one of the park's eateries (on your own expense). We will start our afternoon game drive right after lunch. You'll encounter a variety of species on these game drives, and there will be lots of chances to take pictures. Around 3 p.m., after our afternoon game drive, we'll return to the lodge. You'll have time to unwind and sip on beverages at the bar.
We'll go for a picturesque tour of the Panorama Route after breakfast. You will go to stunning locations and lookouts, including the Blyde River Canyon, God's Window, and a number of waterfalls. Take a break for lunch along the way (on your own expense). We will head back to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay after your trip of the Panorama Tour.
The final day of your African Kruger safari is today. Before arriving back at the resort around noon, you can take an optional morning game drive (on your own expense). We'll return to Johannesburg after checking out. You will be dropped off in Johannesburg as planned late in the afternoon, at either Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport or a Johannesburg hotel.
