Upon your arrival at Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by your tour guide. After a brief introduction and overview of the itinerary, you'll set off on a scenic drive to Sossusvlei, located within Namib-Naukluft National Park. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours, winding through ever-changing landscapes. You'll pass rugged mountains, vast plains, and ancient desert terrain. Along the way, keep an eye out for wildlife such as oryx, springbok, and ostriches. Upon arrival at your lodge in Sossusvlei, you'll be greeted with a refreshing welcome drink and a chance to settle into your accommodations.

Today you will wake up early en have breakfast. After a hearty breakfast, you will set off for a full day of exploration in Namib-Naukluft National Park. The highlight of your day will be the iconic sand dunes of Sossusvlei, among the highest in the world. Dune 45, named for its location 45 kilometers from the park’s gate, is a popular choice for visitors to climb. Ascending this towering dune is a challenging but rewarding experience, offering panoramic views of the endless sea of sand. Take your time to appreciate the silence and solitude of the desert from this vantage point.

In a midday break you have a packed lunch or return briefly to your lodge for rest before continuing your exploration. In the afternoon, visit Sesriem Canyon, a natural gorge carved by ancient river systems. In the evening return to your lodge for diner and overnight stay.

On the final day of your safari, take some time to relax and soak in the last moments of this incredible journey. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and perhaps take a short walk around the lodge to appreciate the morning light on the dunes one last time.
