    On Day 1, depart from Zanzibar in the early morning, taking a one-hour flight from Zanzibar to Kikoboga Airstrip in Mikumi, one of Tanzania's largest national parks, known for its diverse ecosystems. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the late afternoon, go on your first game drive. Look for iconic wildlife such as elephants, which are often seen grazing in the park’s grasslands, and the abundant herds of wildebeest. You may also spot giraffes browsing on acacia trees and various bird species, including the vibrant lilac-breasted roller, as the sun sets over the African savannah, overnight at your lodge.
