- Day1Transfer to Musanze visit Ibyi Iwacu Cultural VillageThis morning after breakfast at 08:00 am, Your guide will pick you from your hotel in Kigali to start your 3 Days Rwanda Tour and visit Kigali city where you will enjoy a scenic- transfer to Musanze with several stopovers for photography(2h30min drive). On arrival, you will check-in at your lodge followed by lunch. Thereafter visit ibyiwacu cultural village. IBYIWACU CULTURAL VILLAGE is changing traditional perceptions of what constitutes tourism by turning fate into fame through sharing various aspects of rural cultures and livelihoods into tourist attractions and creating income-generating activities for rural poor people that have lived on bushmeat, poaching for generations. The village provides tourists experiences beyond wildlife viewing, the people, culture, and how they live. The village also gives a chance to the visitors to enjoy the eight different local dances, listen to Gorilla songs, local food preparations, visit the local healer, visit the king’s place and get to hear all the old stories. After the cultural entertainment, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
- Day2Gorilla Trekking Day and Dian Fossey VisitToday your day begins with an early – 06:00 am – drive to the Volcanoes National Park offices for Gorilla Trekking briefing that takes place at 7:00 am. You will then start your walk at 8:00 am. Volcanoes National Park protects the steep slopes of this magnificent mountain range and is the home of the rare mountain gorilla and the rich mosaic of montane ecosystems, which embrace evergreen and bamboo forest, open grassland, swamp, and heath, but the high point will be spending an hour with the remarkably peaceful gorillas despite their size and appearance as they go about their daily life, feeding, playing, resting and raising their young.
- Day3Transfer back to Kigali for the city tourThis morning at 08:00 am upon arrival at the city we shall have lunch before we embark on the city tour after which depending on your departure flight you will transfer to Kigali in due time for your outbound flight.
