Itinary in details

  • Day1
    Your adventure begins at 8:00 AM as we depart Antananarivo for a scenic three-hour drive to Ampefy, a peaceful highland town cradled by volcanic lakes and rolling hills. Along the way, you'll pass through rural villages and farmlands, catching glimpses of everyday Malagasy life.
     
    At 11:00 AM, we arrive at the Analavory Geysers, where cold water bursts dramatically into the air—a fascinating natural phenomenon. After soaking in the views, we head to a local restaurant in Ampefy for a taste of traditional Malagasy cuisine, including Romazava or Ravitoto.
     
    By 2:30 PM, we'll hike to the stunning Lily Waterfall, a 23-metre cascade surrounded by lush greenery. It's the perfect spot for photos and quiet reflection. Later, we'll stroll along the shores of Lake Itasy, Madagascar's third-largest lake, with the option of a peaceful boat ride.
     
    At 6:30 PM, we'll check into our hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner at the Farihy Hotel or a nearby restaurant.

    Your day begins at 8:00 AM with breakfast, followed by a visit to Ilot de la Vierge, a charming hilltop chapel that offers breathtaking views of Ampefy, Lake Itasy, and the volcanic landscape. A short hike rewards you with unforgettable panoramas.
     
    At 10:30 AM, we'll drive to Antafofo Falls, where a brief hike takes you through scenic valleys and past fascinating volcanic rock formations. Lunch follows in Ampefy—choose a local restaurant or a peaceful picnic by the falls.
     
    At 1:30 PM, we'll begin our journey back to Antananarivo, passing through rolling hills and quaint villages. Along the way, we'll stop at Lemurs Park, a conservation sanctuary where a local guide will introduce you to several species of lemurs.
     
    Arriving back in Antananarivo, your peaceful escape to Ampefy comes to a close. This tour offers a wonderful chance to connect with locals and experience their daily way of life.

    Your day begins at 7:30 AM with a scenic 1.5-hour drive from Antananarivo to the lakeside village of Mantasoa, where lush forests and sparkling waters await. Upon arrival at 9:00 AM, you'll discover the fascinating history of Jean Laborde, the French adventurer who built Madagascar's first industrial centre here.
     
    At 10:00 AM, you'll board a boat for a peaceful cruise across Lake Mantasoa to Nosy Soa Park, a private island sanctuary teeming with wildlife. A guided tour at 10:30 AM introduces you to playful lemurs, colourful chameleons, and other endemic reptiles. Lunch by the lake at 12:30 PM offers a moment of relaxation with stunning views.
     
    The afternoon is yours to enjoy Mantasoa at your own pace—explore historical sites, take a leisurely walk, or simply soak in the serene atmosphere. At 3:30 PM, we'll begin our return to Antananarivo, arriving around 5:00 PM.
