Itinary in details

  • Day1
    Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will have a pick up from your safari guide who will later transfer you to your hotel where you will have a briefing about this 11 days stay with us and later dinner and an overnight stay.

  • Day2
    Have an early morning breakfast and embark on the transfer for the 6 or 7 hours road trip to Murchison Falls national park, along the way branch off towards Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary which is home to white Rhinos, here we shall stay for a maximum of 3hours on our guided walk through the sanctuary in search for Rhinos. We shall have lunch at Kabalega dinners and embark on our road trip to Murchison falls National Park which is home to about 451 bird species and 76 mammal species covering an area of 3,840 Sq km and this makes it the largest national park in Uganda. Upon arrival relax at the lodge in the evening with a delicious dinner and an overnight stay.

  • Day3
    After a cup of coffee or , head out for a game drive through the park around the Nyamisika plateau where a lot of early risers will be spotted like the Rothschild Giraffes, leopards, lions, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, bushbucks, African Elephants, among others. Return to the lodge for lunch and some refreshment as you prepare for the afternoon launch cruise along the Nile, the park is divided into the southern and northern bank by the flow of Victoria Nile. On the boat you will see animals like Hippos, Nile Crocodiles and different species of water bird like the Pelican, Goliath Heroin, ibis, shadowed bill stock, Kingfishers, and the rare shoebill. You will disembark the boat at the bottom of the magnificent falls a few meters from the Devils Cauldron here you will take enough photos as proceed with the hike to the top of the fall, enjoy the thunderous roars of the magnificent falls as they make their way through an 7m narrow gorge and falling at 43m into the Victoria Nile. You can spend some time there watching the formed permanent rainbows in the clouds of sprinkling waters. Later meet your safari guide for the transfer to the lodge. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day4
    Today after the morning breakfast, embark on another long haul drive to Queen Elizabeth national park via Fort portal town with a stopover lunch. And later continue with your journey alongside beautiful sceneries of the Rwenzori mountain ranges. Queen Elizabeth National Park has a wide range of biodiversity with over 600 species of birds doubled with a variety of wildlife species such as the African elephants, lions, waterbucks, warthogs, Cape buffaloes and many more. Upon arrival at Queen national park drive to your lodge for refreshment, dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day5
    Have an early morning breakfast and head out for the morning game drive to look for wildlife species like lions, waterbucks, cape buffaloes, leopards, forest hogs, topis, African Elephant, warthogs, antelopes and others. From there transfer back to the lodge freshen up and have lunch after which in the afternoon you will set for the 2 hour launch cruise on the 42 km stream called the Kazinga channel which intersects lakes Edward and George. On the boat enjoy spotting large schools of hippos and Nile crocodiles alongside other wildlife and water bird species.

  • Day6
    After your early morning breakfast drive to the Kalinzu Forest still part of the Queen Elizabeth national park for Chimpanzee tracking, from there head to Ishasha sector for the tree climbing lions expedition. Continue with your journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park through stunning fold like terraced highlands also referred to as The Switzerland of Africa. We shall have lunch along the way, arriving later afternoon and checkin at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

  • Day7
    Today, wake up very early in the morning and have breakfast, then after embark on a short drive to the visitors’ center of the park where you will meet experienced rangers guides who will take you through a briefing about the dos and don’ts during the gorilla trekking adventure. After that you will start the hike in the mist dense forest to look for the gentle giants, it normally takes from 2 hour to 8 hours of trekking hence requires the trackers to be physically fit since over 7,500 ft steep altitude awaits you to maneuver through. You are advised to park enough water, picnic packed lunch, sun glasses, hats, rain coats, water proof jacket, long sleeved shirts and trousers, cameras without flashes. upon meeting the mountain gorillas ‘’what felt like tiresomeness during the hike will cease to exist as you will have a great time enjoying the mountain gorillas in this mist dense forest and 1 full hour is permitted to stay closer to them. After transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day8
    Enjoy your relaxed breakfast and embark on the drive to Lake Bunyonyi, the second deepest lake in Africa and famous for its numerical islands and the stunning views doubled with the rolling terraced hills along the shores and 29 islands in water, the water here, is safe for swimming since it is Bilharzia and crocodile free. Its name Bunyonyi means a lot young birds in the local language and this creates an opportunity for the best bird watching adventure in Uganda. Upon arrival you could go for canoeing on the lake and later have lunch at the lodge and some relaxation. After your lunch take a community walk around the place where you will enjoy traditional dances from the Bakiga people, also buy yourself souvenirs from there.

  • Day9
    Early morning breakfast and transfer to Lake Mburo Mburo national park, one of the smallest with the highest concentration of wildlife species, occupies an area of 371 sq km. Lake Mburo National Park is home to a big number of the Zebras, antelopes, buffalos, elands, giraffes, warthogs, reed bucks, oribis and a number of bird species. On your way, along the way you will be able to see the rolling terraced hills of Kigezi region, having a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch -The land of milk and honey. After that, continue with your journey, reaching the park in the late afternoon. Have a 2 hour boat cruise on the lake and later have dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

  • Day10
    After your breakfast head out for the morning game drive through Lake Mburo national park and feed your eyes as you spot amazing wildlife species and bird species alongside the scenic savannah grasslands. After the game drive out of the park with stopover along the way for lunch and at the Equator to take photographs and purchase some souvenirs.

    Have a relaxed breakfast and set out for Kampala city tour, visit the Uganda museum , Uganda Martyrs shrine, kings palace and art and craft shops to buy some souvenirs to take back home with you as a remembrance for the 11 days adventure safari in Uganda. After the tour your safari guide will take you to Entebbe Airport for your flight back home as you bid farewell to Uganda.
