10 Days Uganda and Tanzania Safari- Gorillas, Chimpanzees and Wildlife

This 10 days safari in Uganda and Tanzania, takes you to Kigali Rwanda where you will start your Gorilla trekking journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park, you will also visit Kibale forest national park for chimpanzees trekking following a domestic flight to Tanzania for the African big fives in Serengeti national park. This itinerary includes a gorilla and chimpanzee safari to the national parks of Kibale and the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This is an excellent chance to combine chimpanzee trekking or a habituation experience in Kibale National Park with gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is home to half of the world's endangered mountain gorillas. The best location to see habituated wild chimpanzees has been determined to be Kibale National Park. The start and finish of this all-inclusive trip will be at Kigali International Airport.

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit the amazing mountain gorillas of central Africa's rainforests on the slopes of the Virunga Mountains and in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is gorilla trekking in Uganda. Travelers who have experienced this Uganda safari give it great praise. No other animal encounter in Africa, according to some, comes close to the unforgettable thrill of getting up close and personal with Uganda's wild gorillas in their native habitat. Outside of their natural habitat, mountain gorillas cannot thrive, and therefore cannot be kept in zoos. They only inhabit Uganda, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), two remote rainforest jungles in east and central Africa. The last few enormous apes are fiercely guarded by these nations like a king's fortress from the Middle Ages.

This safari will take you to Tarangire National Park, which has a large population of elephants, and Serengeti National Park, which is the first and most famous park in Tanzania and has a large population of lions and leopards. The tour will then take you to the heart of Tanzania's safari region. And finally, you'll end your safari at the Ngorongoro Crater, a world-famous site that some people have referred to as a "natural zoo" because of the abundance of animals that draw a variety of predators, including cheetahs, leopards, lions, and hyenas.

The four main regions of Tanzania's northern parks, which are among the most famous in all of Africa, each provide quite distinctive experiences. Many tourists fly through in less than a week, but our 10-day intensive safari provides for a leisurely pace and ample time to savor the finest of each area visited. The safari intense includes two Serengeti locations that give access to regions with consistently excellent year-round wildlife as well as a seasonal camp that moves to coincide with the seasonal wildebeest migration. This Tanzania safari is completed by comfortable lodging, enthusiastic and involved guides, and exclusive use of your own private vehicle.

A 10-day adventure safari with a concentration on northern Tanzania's most rewarding wildlife sites, such as Tarangire, the famous Ngorongoro Crater, and two Serengeti locations, as well as Uganda for gorilla and chimpanzee trekking.

After breakfast, we pick you up from the hotel and take you from Rwanda to Uganda by crossing the border. Although the drive today takes around 5.5 hours, it is incredibly scenic and will give you a taste of rural living in this region of the world. We'll eat lunch there right away once you've been checked in at Bohoma Haven Community Lodge. After lunch, we visit a nearby Batwa Community so you may stretch your legs after the long trip. The Batwa (Pygmies), who have lived in Bwindi forests for at least 5000 years, are regarded to have been the region's first settlers. They have been a displaced community since the early 1990s, and they preserve their customs and memories through cultural excursions. Many participants in this encounter have vivid memories of life as local forest dwellers, and they will astound you with their customs and bushcraft abilities. Their little size is thought to be an adaptation for life in the rainforest. Following your extremely enjoyable and intriguing Batwa Experience, we'll take you back to your lodge for dinner and the night.

  • Day3

Drive to the Bwindi Park Headquarters of the Uganda Wildlife Authority after breakfast. The rangers will offer you information on the hike, gorilla behavior, and rules during the early morning briefing, which begins at 8 am. Then you set out to find these wonderful creatures in the Impenetrable Forest. The expert tracking group tells your guides where the gorillas were last night, but since these animals are always on the move in search of food, the trip could last anywhere from two to six hours. You will feel the excitement when you come across the gorillas since you get to spend an hour with the troop you have found. It is frequently referred to as one of the greatest animal encounters in nature.

Only about 1000 mountain gorillas remain in the wild, and Bwindi is home to about a third of them. After the trek, we return to your accommodation for a quick change of clothes and lunch before making the approximately 90-minute drive to the southern Ishasha region of Queen Elizabeth National Park. We will go on a wildlife drive at Ishasha, and we have also arranged for a local safari veterinarian and a guide to help you locate the renowned tree-climbing lions. We will leave Ishasha at 2:30 and travel farther north in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

In actuality, The Jane Goodall Foundation has contributed significantly to the general conservation of not only these chimpanzees but also the gorillas that can be found in Uganda. Most likely, you'll finish about 11 a.m. We start the five-hour transfer back to Kigali from here, and we arrive there at 5:00 pm.
