You will be greeted by one of our representatives when you arrive at Kigali International Airport. You will be greeted warmly and given a briefing on what to anticipate on the safari before being driven to your hotel in Kigali.
After breakfast, check out of your accommodation and travel to Kigali for a city tour. Kigali was first established in 1907 as a German town before becoming a city in 19962 when Rwanda was granted independence, taking the place of Butare, the colonial capital.
You will learn about Rwanda's history from pre-colonial periods to the 1994 genocide during the city trip as you visit the genocide memorial site and the Kandt Museum, where you can see historic Kigali and artisan items. Additionally, you'll discover previous genocides and how Rwanda dealt with its tragic past.
You will eat lunch in Kigali before leaving for Ruhengeri, which will take you about 2.5 hours. You will arrive at Volcanoes National Park in the early evening. Enter your lodge to spend the night and have dinner.
The mind-blowing mountain gorilla trekking requires you to get up early for breakfast before traveling to the park. There will be a briefing at the park's headquarters, where you will also be divided into 8 groups and assigned a gorilla family to trek.
You will go into the Volcanoes National Park's forests under the leadership of armed rangers and guides in search of mountain gorillas; the trek lasts between 2 and 6 hours, depending on the gorillas' movements and where they spent the night before. Once you've located the gorillas, you'll appreciate seeing their enormous size, observing their activity, and witnessing the young gorillas swinging from tree branches. After spending an hour capturing breathtaking photos, you'll make the walk back to the park's administrative center, where you'll meet your driver and return to your lodge for lunch. You will check out after lunch and then drive through coffee, tea, and banana plantations as you head back to Kigali. You will check into your lodge for dinner and the night when you get to Kigali.
You will check out of your accommodation following breakfast and be driven to Kigali International Airport in time for your departure to Nairobi. You will be met by a safari guide at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and taken to your accommodation in Nairobi for the night.
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and drive to Amboseli National Park, where you may see enormous herds of elephants and admire Mount Kilimanjaro's stunning backdrop. After checking into your lodge, you'll have time for lunch before entering the park. Later that day, you'll go on a game drive where you can see vast herds of elephants, cape buffalo, elands, gazelles, and giraffes, among other animals. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight in the evening.
After an early breakfast, head to the park for a full-day game drive that includes an afternoon game drive and a picnic lunch. During this time, you will learn a lot about the Amboseli National Park's plains and take in views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's tallest mountain.
You can enjoy seeing a variety of species during the game drive, including cape buffalo, elephant herds, hyrax, smaller kudus, giraffes, dik-dik, and wild dogs, among others. After a picnic lunch and another game drive to further explore the park, you will return to your lodge for supper and the night.
You will leave Amboseli for Lake Nakuru national park with a packed lunch after an early breakfast. You will arrive in Lake Nakuru in the afternoon and have a boat trip on the lake to see the many pink flamingos and other wildlife, such rhinos and elephants that live along its shores. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight in the evening.
You will leave the resort after breakfast and drive to the Maasai Mara national reserve. You will pass Mount Longonot on the way, proceed through Narok Town, and arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. The next day, you will go on a wildlife drive through the vast plains of the Maasai Mara. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight in the evening.
After an early breakfast, travel to the reserve for a full day of game viewing in the boundless plains. Enjoy the breathtaking surroundings and spot a variety of wildlife. You can view a variety of animals during game drives in the Maasai Mara, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, wildebeests, elands, and gazelles. After a picnic lunch by the Mara River, you'll embark on another exploring adventure. You will return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and to spend the night.
After breakfast, you will depart the park and go on a game drive. You will stop for lunch en route, and when you get to Nairobi, you will be taken to the airport to catch your flight home.
