Itinary in details
- Day1Domestic Flight from Antananarivo to Morondava
In the morning, you'll be picked up from your Antananarivo hotel or Airport and begin your Madagascar’s. We will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it. Upon arrival at the international airport, a guide awaits you who will take you directly to the national airport for the domestic flight to Morondava. Along the way he will give you a short briefing on your trip and answer all your questions about our next adventure. Overnight in Morondava.
- Day2Morondava - kirindy reserve
Kirindy reserve - Baobab Avenue. This morning after your breakfast at the hotel we will head to the Kirindy reserve to discover the amazing baobab avenue and watch different species of wildlife, like lemurs, birds, fosa (the largest carnivore of Madagascar) and meet several species of reptiles like chameleon, geckos etc. in Kirindy reserve. We will see different species flora like giant baobab, palissandre trees, bamboo and many more as well. The baobab avenue is located along the way to reach the reserve of kirindy, so here we can stop for a short time and if you are ok with waking up a bit early in the morning we can do sunrise to this amazing baobab avenue as well which is really spectacular. After the baobab avenue we will continue driving about 02 hours to reach Kirindy reserve. Here we will stop for few minutes to take some pictures and enjoy the scenery then continue our way towards Kirindy reserve. This night we are going to do night walk to see several species of nocturnal lemurs / sleeping birds and some geckos. Overnight in Kirindy.
- Day3Transfer to Bemaraha national park (Morondava – Bekopaka)
Today after breakfast, you will drive to Bekopaka a village that is the gateway of the Tsingy of Bemaraha National Park. On the way, you will be crossing two different rivers on ferry boats. After the first ferry, you will stop to have lunch at a town called Belo sur Tsiribihina. After lunch, you will continue your way further to Bekopaka. A few kilometers before Bekopaka, you will cross another river again which is called Manambolo River. After the last ferry, you will drive for a few minutes to reach your hotel. Overnight in Bekopaka
- Day4exploring Tsingy de Bemaraha national park
Today after breakfast at the hotel, you will head to the big Tsingy to enjoy and discover how amazing it is and enjoy its nature. You will see lemurs, chameleons, night active lemurs and ring-tailed mongooses. You will have a picnic lunch over there in the middle of the rock forest. In the afternoon, you will feel strong enough to discover the small Tsingy, and head there to visit and experience its beauty. You can also decide to relax by the pool with your fresh drink.
- Day5bekopaka - allee des baobas - Morondava
After breakfast at the hotel, you will travel back to Morondava. On your way to Morondava, you will visit the sacred baobab and the “in love baobab”, which is the unique scene of two large baobab trees that have grown together intertwined. This tree symbolizes the union of two lovers and many couples come here to renew their vows. After this, you will continue your drive to admire the most popular sunset in all of Madagascar, the sunset at Baobab Alley. The baobabs located in this region have been around for 800 years and it is one of the most popular attractions in all of Madagascar. After your sunset experience at Baobab Alley, you will continue your drive to your final destination for the day Morondava. Upon arrival in Morondava, you will check into your hotel and settle in for the evening.
- Day6Domestic flight from Morondava to Antananarivo - Departure
After breakfast we will prepare for your return then we will head to the airport and take the plane to Antananarivo. Upon arrival in Antananarivo, we will head to the international airport to wait for your flight to depart for your home country.
