The 3 days Safari will give you a glance at Uganda’s most visited National Park which is Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park occupies an area of 1,978 square kilometers, located 376km west of Kampala Uganda. The park is characterized by various ecosystems such as the Lake George and Edward, Kazinga channel, the accompanying savannah vegetation, humid forests, and also lush wetlands. The park hosts about 100 mammal species and 606 bird species. You will appreciate the big numbers of antelopes, Nile crocodiles, hippos, African elephants, Cape buffaloes, and many more on a game drive through the park and on the launch cruise along the Kazinga channel that bisects the park. The park is also home to the tree-climbing lions that are located in the Ishasha Sector, Chimpanzees in Kyambura Gorge and Kalinzu forest, and also several birds and various monkey species in the Maramagambo forest.

Day 1: Travel from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Wake up early in the morning, enjoy your morning breakfast at the lodge afterwards you will be picked from there by your guide by exactly 6:30 am who will brief you and you start your 6 hours journey to Queen Elizabeth national park. Along the way you will have your first stopovers at the Kayabwe for the equator experience, this is more so of a photographic moment, and take as much as you can, from there continue Mbarara town at Agip Motel for your lunch. Thereafter continue with your journey to the Park as your road trip takes you through the spectacular landscape with magnificent views of open grasslands, tea plantations, Ankole long-horned cattle farms, the Rift valley Escarpment Vegetable markets, and various woodlands. Arrive at the park in the late afternoon check-in at the lodge for some relaxation as you await the night game drive in the park.

Day 2: Morning Game drive and afternoon Boat cruise safari

Kick start your day with breakfast, before embarking on the game drive to the various tracks in the park starting with the Kasenyi track. Along the Kasenyi track, there is a great chance of seeing various mammal species like waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, African elephants, cape buffaloes, lions, warthogs together with several birds species. After the game drive retires back to your lodge for relaxation and lunch. After lunch later in the afternoon, you will partake in an adventurous moment while cruising on a 2 hours launch cruise safari along the Kazinga channel that intersects Lake George and Lake Edward, while on the boat safari you will appreciate high numbers of animal species like Hippos, Nile crocodiles, cape buffaloes, warthogs, African elephants, kobs and much more, and also a collection of birds species like the rare shoebill stock, the malachite kingfishers, African Jacana, pink backed pelicans, on the banks and in trees. From there travel back to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking and Departure to Kampala

With the adorable memories of the recent two days, you have a relaxed heavy, and tasty breakfast at the lodge and check out of the lodge, have a short drive to Kalinzu forest which is also part of queen Elizabeth national park for the search of man’s closest cousins ( chimpanzee tracking) you will enjoy seeing them rolling on the branches of trees with easy fighting for food. your lunch will be served in Mbarara town at Agip motel for continental food or Igongo cultural center for the buffet of local cuisine, we shall also have a quick stopover at Mpambire drum center where you will be surprised on how the African drum is made, and also be able to purchase some souvenirs, proceed to Entebbe or Kampala.
