Itinary in details
- Day1Transfer to Kibale National ParkToday you will embark on the journey to Kibale national park immediately after your breakfast. The drive will go through the countryside with scenic views of several plantations, small urban, vegetable markets. We shall have a stopover at Fort portal town for the en-route lunch. From there continue with the journey to your lodge and check-in. In the afternoon, you will go for the Bigodi community walk to experience more about the wetland for birding and primates walk. You will also visit the organic coffee factory using the elementary tools. After that transfer back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
- Day2Chimpanzee habituation day in Kibale Forest National parkMove out of your lodge after an early breakfast, the safari guide meets you for the Chimpanzee habituation adventure. We shall be briefed by a ranger guide about this activity. You will enter the forest in search of the chimpanzee community undergoing a habituation process, we shall meet the chimpanzees deep in the rainforest feeding and grooming each with the young star. On this adventure, you will be allowed to spend 4 hours with the chimpanzee. Regarding the time you begin and how long it will take you to locate the chimpanzees, this activity takes you a half-day or a full day. You will move with the ranger guide and researchers following these chimpanzees all over the day. Due to the fact that chimpanzees under habituation are not stable so there are limited chances for photoshoots. Retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
- Day3Crater lake Tor and Transfer to Kampala or EntebbeAfter your relaxed breakfast, your safari guide will lead you to the crater lakes for the nature walk around and then after we embark on the journey back to Kampala.
