Itinary in details

  • Day1
    Wake up in the morning at your hotel in Kampala and have a cup of tea before being briefed about the day’s trip to Namugongo Pilgrimages site by our trained guides.After the briefing,you will be driven by our experienced drivers to Namugongo.This is a 30 minutes drive from Kampala,the capital city of Uganda.As you are being driven,look through the window and have a glance at the beauty of the city full of cultural expressions which are hard to fine.Reach Namugongo at around 10:00 am. Spend the whole day at Namugongo Pilgrimage site where the Uganda martyrs were burnt alive by the then king of Buganda Kabaka Mwanga because of their faith in Christianity.While at the place you will view the various cultural objects including the martyrs remains which are highly preserved for people to remember them.You will have a lunch break before proceeding with an adventurous tour at the place. Return later in the evening to your hotel in Kampala for dinner and overnight.

    After breakfast,you will be picked by our driver at your hotel who will drive you to Mengo,a Kampala suburb to Buganda’s palace. Here,you will have a chance of experiencing a true feeling of the cultural aspirations that this largest kingdom of Uganda has.You will be different stories about the kingdom’s history which will be backed by visual aid.View some of the historical objects like ancient tools which the early men of Buganda used during their time. You will have a lunch break before proceeding with your tour. Return later in the evening to your hotel in Kampala for dinner and overnight. This will mark the end of our 2 days cultural safari tour in Uganda.
